Avenue Q

I went away this week-end with my friend Jenny to Tahlequah. It's not a large place, the only real thing to recommend it is that it is the Cherokee headquarters... and the home of the legendary Cornelii. There's five original members, and then there's a sister-in-law, and me, Jen's brother's sister - but not Jen's. I'm adopted.
Every member of the family has interesting quirks - Grandma's very quiet and sweet, but then hands her son an empty whipped cream container with a wicked smile. Lee lives in a BRIGHT blue room and grows poinsettias well past the Christmas season. Lou puts things in strange places, like mini-laminators in a pile of blankets, and gives waffle irons as a traditional wedding present (we love it, we used it this morning). :)
And the others... I'm not sure they can be described. Jen likes to rip arms off of stress balls and patch them with band-aids.
I adore them all.
Getting to the point, however, I was first introduced to a new musical in Jen's car. It's called Avenue Q, and has got to be the most hysterical thing I have ever heard. The CD included tracks such as "It Sucks To Be Me", "Everyone is a Little Bit Racist" and "The Internet is for Porn". Some of the characters are loosely based off of Sesame Street characters, and most of them are puppets.... and Gary Coleman.
