School

We're all hearing about back-to-school sales on the television and seeing empty shelves in said section at the stores, but I've only just realized, despite all preparations, that my baby is going to school for the first time. It isn't even Kindergarten, but nevertheless, the Boy will shortly be headed off three days a week for a morning of (hopefully) learning useful thing. My little - ahem - big boy has a Cars themed lunchbox, and plenty of new clothes and a pair of new shoes, and is as excited as can be.
Me, on the other hand, I've begun to panic. The reasonable half of my mind is saying that he'll be fine, he knows at least as much, if not much more, than the other children. But I worry, because he's an only child (to date) and maybe spoiled because of it, so I hope he behaves well with the others. Also, because he doesn't quite have his whole alphabet recognition down - he can recite them, of course, but not recognise them all, and can only write them with difficulty. Same with numbers, although he can count to a hundred... except for 14 and 15.
I suppose he is as prepared as he can be, but I really can't help but worry that everything will go well.
