Today

It's dreary and rainy outside, which I welcome after the recent heat wave; I expect it's a result of the hurricane currently making its way through the Caribbean. It's been a really wet year this year, in comparison to last year especially, and summer didn't arrive till mid-June. Customarily, we're looking at summer towards the end of April, with the end arriving by the end of October. Our other season is winter, very cold. It snows rarely, but it gets icy, and all year long the wind never stops blowing.
Getting to the point, though, after a long time with endless, blasting sunshine, it rains. I've been easily stressed lately, but today just landed like a ton of bricks on my head. And my cat still hasn't come home.
