Humor (in Life)

Tacky Princess at the White Trash Mom Blog posted an entry on the side effects on Mirapex, which is a drug used for Restless Leg Syndrome or Parkinson's - the latter in higher doses. Some of them are, admittedly, hysterical.
I commented on her post, and pointed out that the side effects are generally worth it just so that the person taking it can get some sleep. I also pointed out that her post was funny, and she replied that she appreciated my not taking offense and very kindly pointed out that everyone has illness and bad luck to deal with in life.

What is it, then? Does everyone take offense at everything so very easily? I mean, really, look: if you are offended by someone's opinion, say, seven times in a day, your blood pressure has got to be through the roof.

My point is, get over it and laugh or you'll be dead at fifty.
