Medieval

As I've mentioned before, I'm big into medieval. Among other things - but very medieval. I'm grateful, of course, that I wasn't actually born then, but I do enjoy recreation. My current nag is tending towards historical knitting. When? Where? With what fibers? And was it or was it not actually naalbinding, which is a similar craft, but more complicated. In the world of medieval recreation, however, naalbinding is widely accepted, while knitting... not so much. However, it is portable, and much easier to manage than embroidery by candlelight.
Anyhow, the only real point to this post is to mention that I'm still alive, just immersed in schoolwork and moving - and hoping to resume my knitting activities. For more on historical knitting, read here. Extremely interesting.
